About Brit Guide to Orlando 2009

Simon Veness has put a lot of work into this book. From personal reviews to tips and suggestions, he has included a wealth of information for anyone planning a holiday to Orlando and any of the nearby attractions. Brit Guide to Orlando 2009 gives loads of advice on how to get the most for your pound when planning your holiday. The book contains everything you need to know about the major theme parks as well as some of the lesser known ones and includes detailed maps and photographs.

If you are planning your first holiday to Orlando, Brit Guide to Orlando 2009 is well worth the price. Simon Veness includes valuable information about new travel rules and everything you need to know about going through Orlando International Airport. If you are hiring a car, there is a section on the best rates, driving tips and detailed information for upload into GPS devices. Simon uses his personal experience to make recommendations on how to save money on every aspect of your holiday. The book is packed with advice on how to save money on theme park tickets, hotels, meals and shopping.

You will learn the best times to visit the various theme parks for the shortest queues, the best places to go shopping, where to order the best steaks, what rides should be at the top of your list at each theme park as well as the rides that aren't worth bothering with. Simon Veness also includes what areas of Orlando to avoid and gives information concerning local scams.

Brit Guide to Orlando 2009 is packed with fabulous reviews of all the major theme parks and attractions in Orlando, and the surrounding areas including Busch Gardens in Tampa. What really sets it apart from all the other Orlando and theme park guides that are out there is the inclusion of lesser known attractions in and around the Orlando area.

I found this information to be rather splendid and more valuable than the information on the major theme parks, because even with the discounts, fitting them all into a holiday can be quite costly. The lesser known attractions are reasonably priced and in some cases, free. My holiday would not have been complete without visiting the world famous Cocoa Beach, a very nice change from the hustle and bustle of Orlando, which is only a short drive and cost half a tank of petrol to get there. I was also fortunate enough to visit Kennedy Space Center, home of the space shuttle launches after reading the review by Mr. Veness. I would highly recommend purchasing this book before making your holiday plans, then picking one or two of the most popular parks to visit and filling in the rest of your holiday with the lesser known and less expensive attractions in the guide.
